Graphic Artist Guild: Career Development Night

The New York Chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild is having a career development event at Pratt Manhattan, 144 W 14th St, Rm 213 on January 19th, from 7-9PM.

It is free to attend for Pratt students and faculty. Please email ny@gag.org to sign up for the event.

This event is a panel discussion featuring a pair of industry experts (with additional panelists to be announced over the next few weeks) about the changes in the illustration job market with the slow dwindling of editorial print work, and how artists can adapt and strategize to best take advantage of this shifting landscape.

We invite you to attend and encourage you to tell your students, as it will prove to be a very useful talk for fresh-faced students just entering the field, as well as for experienced artists wondering what steps to take to further their own careers. On top of that, it is free for Pratt Students and faculty to attend, and is affordable for everyone else.
